Call for Volunteers

As you all know this year a massive influx of Pakistani students is expected for Sweden. Almost all the students will be arriving through the four entry points in Sweden: Stockholm, Gothenburg, Oslo & Copenhagen.

For students coming through Stockholm we have been planning to receive them and direct them onwards for their final destinations. Also we are in touch with Pakistani students through mailing lists and have motivated them to arrive in groups so that better facilitation can take place.


In this regard if you are a volunteer than please do mail your availability on info@psasweden. org (Subject: Volunteer for Reception) between 15th August and 30th August (also mention the time slot in that particular day). If you would like to contribute in some other way please do let us know about that as well.

Hereby is listed what is expected from a volunteer:
1) Pays for his own traveling to and from the Airport or T-Centralen. (Only larger groups will be received at the Airport).
2) Receives the student and helps them exchange money to SEK
3) Gets them onboard train/bus for destination in Sweden
4) Informs the coordinator about how many students received and making a note of their final destination and name. This information would than be forwarded by the coordinator to the respective PSA in Sweden who will make arrangements on receiving the person from the Railway/Bus Station in that particular city.
